Quiz Question – Saturday, March 27, 2010

And the Winner is: Jenny Cooper
And the Answer is: $18.4x10^19

We are in the midst of March Madness.  And I refer not to the socialized healthcare craziness … but to college basketball.

The 2010 NCAA Tournament began with 65 teams.  Soon those teams will be whittled down to the fabled …“Final Four” .

Before the Tournament commenced, millions of Americans filled out brackets on which they recorded their picks for each of the 64 gamesto be played in the Tournament.

For many years, ESPN and other public media outlets have been following and reporting on so-called “bracketology”.  In the entire history of the storied NCAA Tournament … and despite the millions of brackets that have been filled in prior to the first Tournament game … no person or computer ever has correctly picked the winner of every game.

What are the odds of picking a perfect NCAA Tournament Bracket prior to the first of the 64 games?
