Assume that you are sitting in the top row of the nosebleed seats in National’s Park,  on South Capitol Street in the nation’s capital.

For the purposes of this example, assume that National’s Park forms a bowl the volume of which is 10 Million Cubic Feet …

Of course, anyone who has been in National’s Park knows that the upper decks do not extend around the outfield. But for purposes of the quiz question, assume that the stadium has uniform height and can hold water.

Just after you sit down in the uppermost upper deck seats, an ounce of water splashes onto home plate.

Once every minute, twice as much water as the previous deposit is added.

How long will it be before your upper deck seats are awash?
